The following is an example application proposal PaRaBaL has designed for the National Institute of Health
Vision
PaRaBaL believes that technology should aid something as important as health to the fullest extent. Because of this, PaRaBaL has decided to develop the NIH application. Within this application we plan on building the most fluid, yet informative application to the users. With each agency and its relevant information organized into an easy to read menu we expect users to be able to obtain information and media regarding any portion of the NIH instantaneously.
NIH App – Institutes Portal
PaRaBaL believes that in order for the NIH to have as successful of an application as possible, that it must be fluid and organized. With that in mind we’ve decided to partition the NIH application into it’s relevant institutes. From there, users can go into their respective institutes and receive information regarding each institution. This is to allow for not only the whole of NIH to be shown, but also allow for each institution to have the same features of the application.
NIH App – News Feed
We envision an application that is extremely intuitive and will relay NIH news to users as effective and efficient as possible. The standard browser pane at the bottom of the feed will allow users to navigate to any section of the app as easily as possible.

With the NIH application, users will also be able to connect to the NIH’s other portals within the social media realm. All of which will be displayed on an easy to read menu. From there, users are simply redirected to the website straight from the application.
